Eminem shares artwork for new album “THE DEATH OF SLIM SHADY (COUP DE GRÂCE).”
Eminem continues the rollout for his highly anticipated new album “THE DEATH OF SLIM SHADY (COUP DE GRÂCE)” as he finally unveils the official cover art for the project. The official artwork depicts Slim Shady enclosed in a body bag, peering out through the unzipped opening.
This will be his 12th studio album, and will be officially released on 12th July this week. This is the first time since 2017’s “Revival” that the Detroit rapper started an album roll out, as he released two albums in 2018 and 2020 as surprise projects. It’s been four years since Eminem last dropped an album when he dropped his eleventh studio effort “Music To Be Murdered By” in 2020, and a deluxe side b edition in the same year.

Just the other day, the rapper released the music video for his latest single “Tobey” featuring Big Sean and BabyTron. The visual is directed by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennet, who previously worked with Eminem on three videos. It was the second single by Eminem, and it followed up on the hit track “Houdini” which dropped last month. “Houdini” debuted at number 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The new album was first announced by Dr. Dre a few months ago. “Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year,” he said. “And I actually talked to him and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. I’ve got songs on it and it’s fire. I’m actually going hear the entire album for the first time tomorrow and he holds his music close to his chest so I haven’t hear everything, I haven’t even heard everything complete that I’ve done but I’m going to hear it and he’s putting out an album this year.”
