Taylor Swift dominates the 2024 MTV VMAs.
The highly anticipated 2024 MTV VMAs event took place earlier tonight at UBS Arena in Elmont, N.Y., and as expected, Taylor Swift dominated the event with multiple wins.
Eminem was also among the most nominated artists this year, and he took home two awards for his hit track “Houdini”. The song which debuted at #2 on the Hot 100, won in Best Visual Effects and Best Hip-Hop category. The rapper also opened the event earlier tonight, with a performance of “Houdini” and “Somebody Save Me” with Jelly Roll.

Taylor Swift also made history tonight as she became the most-awarded artist in VMAs history. She won top awards like Artist of the year, Best Pop, Video of the Year, Best Collaboration & Song of the Summer for “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone. Taylor Swift took home a total of 7 awards this year out of 10 nominations. This year, Song of the Year was grabbed by Sabrina Carpenter for “Espresso.”
