Pete Davidson stars as Stu in “Stan” Christmas Parody on SNL, also featured Eminem.
Earlier tonight, Saturday Night Live celebrated Christmas with some comedy skits, and one of them included a parody of Eminem’s iconic song “Stan“. The parody which is titled “Stu“, featured comedian Pete Davidson, wearing a look of Eminem in the 1990s, bleached blonde hair, and a white tank top. Pete Davidson has made a holiday-themed spoof of Eminem’s hit song “Stan.” In it, Davidson (Stu in the video) writes Santa a letter requesting a new PS5. Pete Davidson had planned every detail of the skit. Dido, who is played by Kate McKinnon, is replaced by Stu’s mother, while Elton John is played by Bowen Yang.
In the Skit, Stu wrote a letter to Santa, just in the way Stan wrote once to the Detroit Rapper, but wishing for a PS5. “Dear Santa / I can’t believe the year is almost over / it’s getting colder, I’m a year older but I’m still your soldier. The only thing keeping me alive / Dear Santa, please bring me a PS5.”
He continues, “I tried to buy one at Walmart / ran around the shop mall-like Paul Blart / tried to find one for sale / but the thing is they’re all out / yo, I even went to a Gamestop / but then I was like, ‘Oh wait stop’ / Santa Claus can make one, the man got his own workshop.”
After his initial letter went unanswered, Davidson’s Stu wrote another, this time with lyrics like, “If you can’t help your biggest fan then you should just retire / or next time you slide down my chimney I’ll set your a** on fire.”
The skit was also a surprise for the Eminem fans, as the Detroit rapper himself makes an appearance in a Holiday Sweater, which is his first appearance in over 9 months. “Who’s this, to Shady from Santa, that’s crazy, a PS5. I didn’t even ask for this, I guess Shady must have been a good boy this year. Sorry Stu, You F**ked up“, says Eminem in a short cameo. Check it out below.
