Eminem seemingly announces a new music release date.
After announcing his new album “The Death Of Slim Shady (Coupe De Grace)”, Eminem is all set to kick off the campaign with possible new music next week.
The rapper shared a text message screenshot on his social media, with the message “…and for my last trick!” which was sent at May 31st midnight. While some believe it is the release date for the new album, it is likely that Eminem will drop first single on the given date. The “last trick” likely be a reference to his last album as “Slim Shady”.
This is the first time since 2017’s “Revival” that Eminem started a proper album era, as he released two album in 2018 and 2020 as surprise projects. It’s been four years since Eminem last dropped an album when he dropped his eleventh studio effort “Music To Be Murdered By” in 2020, and a deluxe side b edition in the same year.
“Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year,” announced Dr. Dre in March. “And I actually talked to him and he said it was okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show. I’ve got songs on it and it’s fire. I’m actually going hear the entire album for the first time tomorrow and he holds his music close to his chest so I haven’t hear everything, I haven’t even heard everything complete that I’ve done but I’m going to hear it and he’s putting out an album this year.”
