Eminem is opening a new Mom’s Spaghetti spot in Detroit.
The legendary Eminem is planning to open a new Mom’s Spaghetti spot at 2131 Woodward Ave in Detroit. The date for the opening is set at 5 PM on September 29, which is revealed through a new tv commercial. Earlier this morning, a new 30 Second Ad ran on WXYZ, which showed an Eminem image above the Detroit Skyline. The spot was made to look like a local commercial for Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti, a reference to Oscar-Winning single “Lose Yourself.”
The Detroit rapper first brought Mom’s Spaghetti to life in Shelter a few years ago in 2017. The new spot is a joint partnership with Metro Detroit restaurant group Union Joints, who also teamed up with Marshall Mathers for previous Mom’s Spaghetti spots.
The rapper has been promoting his new business venture with a local television commercial, and it’s very impressive. It portrays Eminem not just towering above the Detroit cityscape, but also double-fisting to-go containers with the word “mom” emblazoned on them.
Last year at the start of Pandemic, Eminem celebrated 12 years of sobriety through Sponsoring Mom’s Spaghetti meals for Healthcare workers in Detroit Medical Center.
Despite the fact that this is Eminem’s first brick-and-mortar restaurant, the concept isn’t new. He gave quantities of the famed spaghetti to storm victims in Houston and Puerto Rico in 2017.
