Eminem confirms the song with Skylar Grey, Polo G & Mozzy for “Venom 2” OST.
A couple of weeks ago, rapper Mozzy’s manager teased a possible collab with Eminem and Polo G, but no further updates were given. Then the speculation and hints started to pop up, which pointed at a new album from the Detroit Rapper, possibly “The Marshall Mathers LP 3”. There were also rumors that Eminem will be on the soundtrack of the new film “Venom 2“, which actually turned out to be true.
Earlier tonight, Eminem himself confirmed that he is contributed to the new “Venom 2”, where he teamed up with Skylar Grey, Polo G, and Mozzy. The track is actually listed as a Skylar Grey song, where the three rappers will be featuring artists. The movie will be released in a couple of days, along with the official soundtrack.
Previously, Eminem also did the soundtrack for the first part of the movie, which was released in 2018. “Venom,” which Eminem co-wrote and sang, was released as a digital single on Sept. 21, 2018, two weeks before the original Venom film was released in theatres in the United States. The song formerly appeared as the last track of Eminem’s tenth studio album, Kamikaze, which was released on August 31, 2018. On the same day as the film’s release, the official music video for “Venom” was released. Eminem’s song plays at the end credits scene of Venom.
