The chart data has revealed the biggest debuts on Spotify this year, which includes the first week and the opening day numbers. In the Biggest first-week album debuts on Spotify in 2020, Taylor Swift’s “Folklore” topped the list with 337.4m streams in the first week of its release. The deceased rapper Juice WRLD ranked third with 315 million streams on her posthumous album “Legends Never Die“. The Detroit Rapper Eminem managed to get into the Top 5 with his album “Music To Be Murdered By” which earned 228 million in the first week.
Justin Bieber has the most monthly Spotify listeners for a male artist, while Dua Lipa has the most monthly Spotify listeners for a female artist as of October 2021. The most popular male musician is Ed Sheeran, while the most popular female artist is Ariana Grande. Since 2013, Spotify has released an annual list of its most-streamed artists, which Drake has topped three times (2015, 2016 and 2018).
