8 Mile battle rapper Latto passed away.
Eminem’s rap film 8 Mile’s actor Nashawn Breedlove, who goes by the battle rapper named Latto in the movie, reportedly passed away. Rapper Mickey Factz shared the news on his social media along with the clip of Latto battling B-Rabit aka Eminem.
“RIP to one of the few emcee’s to beat Eminem… Lotto from 8 Mile. Who’s friends lovingly called him, OX. You will be missed for your tenacity and aggressiveness,” he wrote. Rapper Daylyt also paid tribute to the actor as he wrote: “The first mc who was ever robbed of his win in a rap battle! Rip lotto.” Grafh, Pete Rock, Onyx and more also reacted to the news in the comments.
While Lotto lost the battle against Eminem in the final sequence, he was the only one who gave B-Rabbit a run for his money with a toe-to-toe rap battle.
“Nashawn was a rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. No one could deny his talent. Nashawn’s departure from this world has left an immense void in my life, one that words cannot fully express,” wrote his mother Patricia on Facebook. “I can’t put into words the pain and hurt that I feel. He was not just my son; he was a remarkable man whose character and strength inspired all who crossed his path.”
He was also featured on the soundtrack for the 2001 film “The Wash”, along with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.

“I hate to do this, I would love for this sh-t to last / So I’ll take pictures of my rear end so you won’t forget my a-s / And all’s well that ends okay / So I’ll end this shit with a “F–k you”, but have a nice day,” he spit in the battle.
“You see how far them white jokes get you / Boys like, “How Vanilla Ice gon’ diss you?” / My motto: “F–k Lotto!” / I’ll get the seven digits from your mother for a dollar tomorrow,” Eminem rapped in response verse.
