Elon Musk discusses Kanye West getting banned from Twitter.
Kanye West has been in controversy on and off social media, and the rapper was recently banned from Twitter after inciting violence in a series of tweets. Ye, who showed his admiration for Hitler, shared a swastika picture on his account, for which he was banned from the platform.
Elon Musk, who took the decision of banning the rapper, discuss the whole thing in a Twitter space session. “At some point you have to say what is incitement to violence because it is against the law in the U.S.,” he said. “Posting swastikas in what obviously is not a good way is an incitement to violence.”
He continued, “I personally wanted to punch Kanye, so that was definitely inciting me to violence. That’s not cool.”

“I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Musk tweeted after the tweets from Ye. “Just clarifying that his account is being suspended for incitement to violence, not an unflattering pic of me being hosed by Ari. Frankly, I found those pics to be helpful motivation to lose weight!,” he added.

Ye, wearing a black hood, said last week on Jones’ InfoWars radio that he “liked” Hitler and “loved” Nazis. Jones occasionally seemed to be trying to divert Ye, and he even chuckled aloud, masking a few of his statements. “We’re all crazy. The whole world’s crazy,” said Jones with a laugh after Ye said he loved Nazis. “This is absolutely lit. This is lit, lit, lit, lit, lit,” he said.
