Drake’s “More Life” breaks One Day Spotify Streams Record.
It’s just a few days since Drake released his new ‘More Life‘ playlist and it’s already started breaking some records just like Drake’s previous projects. The playlist first premiered on OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1 on Saturday but after that went live on all streaming services including Apple Music, TIDAL and Spotify.
Today, Spotify has announced that Drake’s new project has broken their records once again. The new playlist called ‘More Life‘ was streamed 61.3 million times on their service, breaking the previous one-day records by Ed Sheeran’s recent release ‘Divide‘ which was streamed 56.7 million times. He also surpassed Ed Sheeran’s (68.7m) one-day artist stream records by 76.4 million. Spotify has also revealed that Drake’s is the first artist to hit 10 billion streams on their service.
