Drake Surpasses 100 Million Monthly Spotify Listeners For The First Time

Drake reaches 100 Million Monthly Spotify Listeners for the First Time in his career.

Drake has added another major achievement to his already historic music career.

The Toronto superstar has officially surpassed 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time ever. The milestone makes him only the second rapper in history to reach the 100 million mark on the streaming platform. The accomplishment comes during the massive success of Drake’s ICEMAN era. Over the last few weeks, the rapper has dominated streaming services, charts, and social media following the release of ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR.

According to Spotify’s latest numbers, Drake now has more than 100 million monthly listeners, putting him among a very small group of artists who have ever reached the milestone.

Before Drake, the only rapper to cross 100 million monthly listeners was Kendrick Lamar, who achieved the feat during his huge 2025 run and reportedly peaked at around 112 million monthly listeners.

The latest numbers also show how far ahead Drizzy currently is compared to most rappers on the platform. He now sits comfortably at the top of Spotify’s rap rankings with a large lead over the next closest artists.

Some of the biggest rappers on Spotify right now include Eminem, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Future, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, and Lil Wayne.

The achievement places Drake in elite company across all genres of music. Only a handful of artists have ever crossed the 100 million monthly listener mark on Spotify. That list includes stars such as Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Bad Bunny, and Michael Jackson.

The milestone adds to what has already been a record-breaking year for Drake. Recently, he became the first artist ever to debut three albums simultaneously in the top three spots of the Billboard 200. He also broke multiple Billboard Hot 100 records, including surpassing Michael Jackson for the most No. 1 hits by a male solo artist.

With ICEMAN continuing to dominate streaming platforms worldwide, Drizzy’s Spotify numbers could keep climbing even higher in the coming weeks.

For now, the Toronto rapstar has once again proven why he remains one of the biggest artists in the world, regardless of genre.
