While he lost the battle against Kendrick Lamar earlier this year, Drake still continues to garner billions of streams as he again topped Spotify wrapped list. In the newly released Spotify wrapped 2024, Drake is named the highest-ranking hip-hop artist on the list.
Overall, the Toronto rap star is the fourth most streamed artist on Spotify in 2024 globally, only behind Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and Bad Bunny. Travis Scott and Kanye West are number 6th and 8th respectively.

Kendrick Lamar, who dominated 2024 following his battle with Drake, topped Apple Music’s most streamed songs list with his diss track “Not Like Us.” This week, K. Dot dominated the Billboard Hot 100 by grabbing 7 spots in the Top 10. He earned fifth number 1 hit of his career and the third of 2024.
