Drake Shows Love For Meek Mill In Philly Concert He's A Real Nia

Meek Mill joins Drake for a walk out at Philly concert.

Drake is currently on his “It’s All A Blur” tour, and the latest stop was Philadelphia, the hometown of Meek Mill. During the stop where Drizzy and 21 Savage sold-out Wells Fargo Center for back-to-back shows, Meek Mill accompanied the Toronto rap star through the crowd.

After hitting the stage, Drake took a moment to show love for Meek Mill, as he recalled their feud. “You see who I walked out here with, right? I’ma always keep it a hundred with you,” said Drake. “The last time I was in this building, that man right here, he’s been representing this city since he started in this sh*t … That man, me and him weren’t getting along at the time, and he’s a real ni**a so he definitely got us up out of Philly real quick. We did not get to stick around and chill. And like I said, I’m a real ni**a so I’ma tell you the truth.”

“It means the most to me that I can come back to this city and show the growth as two men, that we can come here tonight and we can represent for motherf–king Philadelphia together … That’s what this sh-t is about,” he told the crowd.

The rap feud between Drake and Meek Mill was a highly publicised conflict that started in 2015 and continued for several years. It all began when Meek Mill accused the Toronto rap star of using a ghostwriter named Quentin Miller for his verse on their collab song “R.I.C.O.”. In response, Drake released two diss tracks titled “Charged Up” and “Back to Back”, which not only mocked Meek Mill’s career but also targeted his personal relationships and credibility.

Not one to back down, Meek Mill fired back with his own diss track titled “Wanna Know”. This song revealed alleged reference tracks by Drizzy and accused him of being weak and lacking authenticity. The feud intensified as both rappers took subtle jabs at each other through subliminal shots, memes, and public comments.

However, the feud eventually ended in 2018 when Drake and Meek Mill reconciled on stage during one of Drake’s concerts in Boston. The duo even collaborated on a song titled “Going Bad”.
