Drake to bring out stars for the “October World Weekend” concert.
As we’re approaching OVO fest’s 10th anniversary, Drake announces something special for the fans. The OVO fest kicked off in 2010 and happened every year except 2018, 2020 and 2021. While we wait for the next instalment of the fest which will take place next year, the Toronto rap star has announced a three-day concert called “October World Weekend” which is up for later this month.
“OCTOBER WORLD WEEKEND [Globe Emoji] I am currently working on bringing OVO FEST around the world in 2023 for the 10th Anniversary but of course we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!!!,” he wrote.

Drake seemed to defend the dance-oriented album Honestly, Nevermind in a video that went viral online soon after its release. “It’s all good if you don’t get it yet. It’s all good. That’s what we do. That’s what we do,” he said, while his “Calling My Name” track played in the background. “We wait for you to catch up. We’re in here, though. We’re caught up already. On to the next. My goodness.”
