Drake tops the 2024 US album sales list.
Drake continues his streak for most album sales as he’s now named the best-selling rapper of 2024 in the US. According to Chart Data, the Toronto rapper moved 8 million units. This is his milestone, the tenth consecutive year, as the best-selling hip-hop artist in the United States.
While there was no new album from the 6 God in 2024, he indulged in a highly popular beef battle with Kendrick Lamar. In 2024, he released a series of diss tracks, new music through 100gb series, and collaborations with Sexyy Red, 4Batz, Camila Cabello and Gordo.
“Kendrick ended him all last year though,” a user wrote. “But the internet told me Kendrick Lamar ended Drake???” states another. “Organic sales, didnt have to diss anyone,” wrote another. “Drake is about to have an even bigger year this year… If he drops a solo album, numbers will be insane,” wrote another fan.

Last month, he also became Spotify’s most-streamed rapper for 1the 0th consecutive year. In 2024, Drizzy received 10 billion streams, which is the most by any rap artist.
A few days back, Drake returned with some new material as he kicked off 2025 with a freestyle titled “Fighting Irish”. On the song, he again fired subliminal shots at Kendrick Lamar. “This ni–a pulled a rabbit out the hat, and y’all love a magician / It’s funny to see you all rejoicin’ and huggin’ and kissin’ / What are we celebratin’? I’ll rent out the club in addition / Nothing was the same with all you bi–hes and nothing’s forgiven,” he rapped.
