Drake & Future Announce “Summer Sixteen” Tour with Roy Woods & DVSN.
Drake and Future have announced that they will be doing another joint tour called “Summer Sixteen” later this year. The “Summer Sixteen” tour will kick off on July 20th in Austin. Roy Woods and DVSN will also join Drake and Future on this tour with some other special guests.
After the ‘Summer Sixteen’ Drake also reveals about his upcoming OVO Fest. The 7th annual event will be heading from July 29th to August 1 st. It Will Also features Wiz Khalifa & Snoop Dogg.
Though Drake didn’t announce the tour, it is likely to happen soon, Ticketmaster has posted a date for the tour’s Detroit stop, which will take place in August. Drake and Future, of course, have a long history together, not only through their collaboration WATTBA, but also on the road for the “Jungle” tour and Would You Like a Tour.
Multiple gigs have been set in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Houston, with a stop in Oakland on September 13 at the Oracle Arena. The tour comes to a close on September 17 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
All of the tour dates can be seen below, as well as information about Drake’s seventh annual OVO Fest, which he also announced this morning. The tour will be opened by Roy Woods, dvsn, and other special guests, in addition to Drake and Future.
