Drake earns a huge Spotify milestone.
While there’s a decrease in his daily streams, Drake has made Spotify history as he becomes the first artist to surpass 100 billion streams. The Toronto legend has more than double the streams of the second-closest rapper, who is none other than Eminem.
Drizzy is currently the most streamed rapper of 2024 so far with over 8 billion streams. He is also the artist with the most songs (16) over 1 billion on Spotify. He has an average of 5 billion streams per album on Spotify. He has more streams that the likes of Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Big Sean and ASAP Rocky combined.

However, Drake recently lost his top spot as the rapper with the most monthly listeners on Spotify. Following the release of his hit single “Houdini”, Eminem surpassed Drake to hit a new peak of over 80 million monthly listeners for the first time in his career, and joins Drake as the only two artists to achieve this feat.
There’s a decline in Drake’s numbers on the streaming platform following his recent beef with Kendrick Lamar. The two dropped multiple diss tracks at each other, and the former TDE rapper was crowned as the winner by fans and the hip-hop fraternity.
