Drake names Rick Ross as “The Greatest Rapper Alive”.
Drake has always praised his long-time collaborator and good friend Rick Ross, and now once again, the Toronto rap star showered Rozay with a huge compliment. Drizzy and Ross have collaborated on several records, including songs like “God Roses”, “Pop That”, “Aston Martin Music”, “No New Friends” and most recent “Lemon Pepper Freestyle” off “Scary Hours 2” EP.
Drake shared an IG story where he posted a clip of Rick, along with Smiley, whom Drizzy recently assisted on “Over The Top“. “The greatest rapper alive met my favorite rapper alive,” he wrote with the clip. Drake has previously referred to Smiley as an “inspiration,” and a day after learning that he was one of the most nominated musicians for the 2019 Grammys. Drake has been a longtime supporter of Smiley, a new Toronto rapper and buddy, sharing his music and publicly performing his tracks for years before signing him in 2021. Earlier this summer, the two collaborated on the music “Over the Top,” which went viral on sites like Tik-Tok. With his recent projects, Rick Ross has shown that he’s one of the best in the game right now.
The Toronto rapper is currently prepping the release of the highly anticipated album “Certified Lover Boy”, and we might see another Rozay feature on the project. Kanye West keeps pushing his new album “DONDA“, and there are rumors that he’s waiting for Drake to announce the release date of his album.
