Drake Achieves Massive RIAA Certification Milestone On His 39th Birthday

Drake celebrates his 39th birthday with a series of new RIAA plaques.

While we await Drake’s next studio album ICEMAN, the rapper celebrates his 39th birthday by updating his catalogue. In the newly awarded RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) plaques, the rapper earned several new Diamond certifications.

The Toronto rap star has now extended his record of the most diamond-certified songs by any artist. The Diamond certification by RIAA is 10 million equivalent sold. The rapper’s latest Diamond Plaques include “The Motto” w/ Lil Wayne, “Nonstop”, “Headlines”, “Passionfruit”, and “Nice for What”.

Drizzy also earned his first-ever RIAA Diamond for an album, which is for the 2011 classic “Take Care”. The rapper now has a total 16 RIAA Diamond certifications, which include 15 songs and one album.

Earlier this month, Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott’s “Goosebumps” surpassed Drake’s “God’s Plan” for the highest certified RIAA song of all time, with 17x Platinum.
