Dr. Dre wins a legal battle against the estranged wife.
Dr. Dre has won a legal battle in court against her estranged wife Nicole Young as the Judge of their case has rejected Nicole’s request for $1.5 million to pay for various expenses, including security. The Judge also rejected Nicole Young’s request to accelerate her claim that Dr. Dre should pay $5 million for her lawyer’s fees and other costs.
During the hearing, Nicole’s lawyers said that she needs the $1.5 million for security because she’s been receiving death threats. Dr. Dre’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, told the Judge that Dre is still willing to pay all of Nicole’s expenses pending the divorce, including security.
