Dr. Dre is now ordered to pay for Nicole Young’s Attorny fees, which is over a million dollars.
Dr. Dre had been going through the legal case with his ex-wife Nicole Young and was ordered to pay $300k per month in spousal support. The couple separated last year, followed by a divorce. And now, the Hip-Hop mogul is reportedly ordered to pay around $1.5 million in Nicole Young’s attorney fees. According to The Blast, Dre has already give Nicole $2 million in addition to two payments of $500k each. The newly reported sum now makes the lawyer fees in excess of $4 million.
For this case, engaging top-tier legal specialists is “reasonably essential,” which means their hourly fees are likewise “fair and justifiable,” according to a report issued on Tuesday. Because of their “disparity,” Dre is footing the bill, which is why he’s paying the fees. In addition, the reported sum covers expenses until July of the current year. “considering what is just and reasonable and using the Court’s own experience and knowledge that the payee’s reasonable fees are $3,000,000.00 and costs are $ 550,000.00,” the Judge writes.
According to the court order, Nicole has assets totaling “approximately $39 million” and Dr. Dre has approximately “$243 million.” The judge also restates the spousal support to be paid by Dre to his ex-wife for the past year, which is $3,812,978.
