Her 2019 album Hot Pink was a smash with the general public, winning her number one singles, honours, and a slew of nominations. The lead hit, “Say So,” was triple-platinum and catapulted her to new heights. Doja Cat is currently one of the most popular performers in the globe. It’s no wonder that her follow-up album, Planet Her, has had such a long shelf life.
The album was released on June 25, 2021, with guest appearances from Young Thug, Ariana Grande, JID, The Weeknd, SZA and more. The album also helped Doja Cat to earn a record eight nominations at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. The project was the third best selling rap album of 2021.
