DMX says Eminem wouldn’t want to face him in Verzuz battle.
The Instagram Verzuz battles series which was launched by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are getting more popular and raising so many interesting debates. A few days ago, it is trending even more after NORE revealed that Eminem is ready to face DMX in a Verzuz battle.
Despite rumors of a battle with Eminem, DMX is still aiming for a Verzuz duel with JAY-Z. Despite N.O.R.E.’s accusations that Verzuz creator Swizz Beatz is aiming a verzuz between X and Slim Shady, the Ruff Ryders MC made it obvious in a recording from a Drink Champs podcast session that he wants Hov.
Hip-Hop fans might be getting excited for a hit-for-hit battle between two legendary MCs but a new audio clip between Swizz Beatz and DMX reveals that DMX isn’t taking Eminem seriously and says that he would rather go against Jay-Z. “What about Em? Em don’t want it,” laughs DMX. “Em don’t want it. I’d rather go for, you know, my arch-nemesis [Jay-Z]. He don’t gotta come outside, ni**a, it’s in the house. You saying he don’t want to face me and play some records?”
Swizz argued that Verzuz was more of a party than a battle, which only fueled DMX’s desire to enlist Hov’s help. “That’s what I’m saying, that’s why it should be done,” the veteran producer said. “It’s a celebration. We celebrating music. He got some hits too! He can play ‘Money, Cash, Hoes’ then I’m gon’ play ‘Money, Cash, Hoes!’”
