DJ Premier plays Eminem’s “Book of Rhymes”.
The legendary DJ Premier and Eminem finally worked together, recently on the Detroit Rapper’s new Side-B “Music To Be Murdered By” album. DJ Premier didn’t contribute with his full production, but provided his scratching on Eminem’s song called “Book of Rhymes“.
The song also references Nas’s God’s Son song, “Book of Rhymes,” which was produced by Alchemist. In the DJ Premier mixing section, towards the conclusion of the song, there is also a possible sample of the Nas song.
Now he took to his social media where he shares a new video of him trying something new on a DJ Set with the song beat, but “F**ks it Up“. During an Instagram session, Premier added more scratches to the track, indicating that he isn’t getting enough out of it. “You killed it” Paul Rosenberg, Eminem’s manager, responded to the message.
