Freddie Gibbs and Jim Jones reportedly get into a fight in Miami Restaurant.
Freddie Gibbs and his crew were in Miami, where they reportedly gets into a scuffle with Jim Jones entourage. According to Vlad TV, the two rappers bumped into each other at Prime 112 restaurant in Miami, while one team was leaving and the other was entering the dining spot.
According to witnesses at the restaurant, Jim Jones approached the “Alfredo” rapper over the shots he took at him in the past. When Freddie and Jones were having an argument, someone from Jim’s team punched Gibbs in the face, and that’s when the fight broke between the two and their teams.
DJ Akademiks, who also has a beef going on with Freddie Gibbs, shared the article and wrote, “According to sources, a fight between Jim Jones’s crew broke out with Freddie Gibbs’s crew at the swanky restaurant, Prime 112, in Miami. Apparently, the two sides bumped into one another while at the establishment and a fight ensued after words were exchanged. Sources also detailed that #FreddieGibbs and his side took the worst of the exchange.”
Jim allegedly approached the Gary, Indiana rapper because of some disparaging remarks he’d made about the Dipset musician in the past. While the Harlem, New York native and Freddie Gibbs were exchanging words, Gibbs was allegedly struck in the face by a member of Jim’s gang. Jim Jones allegedly assaulted Gibbs, and Gibbs’ security was struck and kicked in the face.
A representative for Jim Jones declined to comment on the event, but issued a statement that stated, “‘We set the trends’ is streaming over two million on both youtube and spotify,” alluding to Jim’s most recent single with Migos.
These stories have yet to be validated, and there is no supporting video footage to back up these assertions at this time. Nonetheless, there are a few testimonies on social media from people who claim to have observed the brawl.
Akademiks also pokes fun at Freddie Gibbs while bringing his family members in his tweet. “Freddie Gibbs definitely tellin his police officer dad and District Attorney brother on Jim Jones,” he wrote. “@freddiegibbs are you ok?” he said in another.
It was revealed that Gibbs will embark on a North American headline tour in 2022, with support acts Zack Fox, MIKE, and Redveil appearing on selected dates. On April 14, the tour begins up in San Francisco, and it runs for 22 gigs through June 3 in Vancouver. Tickets go on sale on December 17.
