Diddy honours late The Notorious B.I.G. on 25th Death Anniversary.
It’s been 25 years since we lost the legendary Biggie Smalls, the rapper who was murdered at just the age of 24. The Notorious B.I.G. was signed to Bad Boy Records at the time of his death, and the boss Diddy remembers the rapper with huge praise.
“There will NEVER be another,” he wrote in the caption on a Biggie clip. “The GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME. Today we celebrate and honor you king. Love and miss you!!”

Christopher George Latore Wallace was born and raised in Brooklyn and signed to the label on the launch in 1993. The rapper only released one studio album “Ready To Die” before his death, and the project was certified 6x Platinum by the RIAA in 2018.
Although Biggie’s murder remains a mystery, retired LAPD Officer Greg Kading claims that Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight planned the death in payback for Tupac Shakur’s murder in September 1996.
In other news, Biggie Smalls’ estate has announced an NFT collection in partnership with the company OneOf. “We are excited about our partnership with OneOf and their expertise to memorialize my son Christopher with this first official NFT drop to give his fans an opportunity to participate in and honor their love of him and his music,” Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, said in a statement.
“We’re honored to work with The Christopher Wallace Estate to celebrate the incredible legacy of Biggie Smalls. Using NFT technology, Biggie’s legacy and his outsized impact on music and culture will be forever cemented on blockchain, to be honored and shared with fans around the world and for generations to come,” said OneOf COO & Co-Founder Josh James.
