Wiz Khalifa & Currensy announces joint ‘2009’ tour. Starts 8 Feb.
Wiz Khalifa and Currensy team up to announce that the duo will be going on a joint tour called ‘2009‘. The tour will kick off on February 8th in Seattle and will go through major markets like Vancouver, Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Houston, and more before concluding the tour in San Antonio, Texas on March 9th.
Wiz Khalifa assured fans at the inaugural NYC BAPE Heads gig in December that his 2009 collaborative album with Curren$y would eventually be released in 2019. The Live in Concert rappers announced on Wednesday (Jan. 9) that they’ll embark on a 22-city tour throughout North America in support of the illusive project.
Tickets will go on sale through Live Nation on Friday at 10 a.m. local time. On Instagram, Khalifa also announced that a run of 2009 limited-edition items will be available soon. On Christmas Eve, the Pittsburgh native reconnected with the Jet Life CEO for “KhalifAndretti.”
