With the tagline ‘We Are Bulletproof,’ BTS announces a new album for 2022.
In a teaser video shared on social media early Sunday morning, BTS unveiled a new album with the motto “We Are Bulletproof” that would be released on June 10th. The group normally discloses material gradually, and this is no exception since the movie has only a succession of photos. It’s unclear if “We Are Bulletproof” is the album title, a song title, or just a phrase.
The new album was originally revealed during the end of the band’s previous four-night Las Vegas engagement, when a date of ‘2022.06.10’ – June 10 – appeared on screen, along with the phrase “We are bulletproof.”
The K-Pop and lockers were wrapping up their Vegas engagement, “Permission to Dance On Stage — Las Vegas,” on April 16 when they announced that the new BTS album will be released on June 10.

BTS albums aren’t since their No. 1 blockbuster Be in November 2020, but they’ve been a constant presence on the charts since then, delivering No. 1 tracks left, right, and center, including “Dynamite,” “Butter,” “Permission to Dance,” and their Coldplay collaboration “My Universe.”
Even though BTS albums weren’t seen the previous year, the group made their comeback to live performances last year with ‘Permission To Dance On Stage’ in Los Angeles, California. The band performed a brief stay at SoFi Stadium on November 27 and 28, 2021, as well as on December 1 and 2, 2021.
The BTS album is expected to be a spectacular success, just as their Los Angeles gig became the biggest single venue musical engagement by any group in almost a decade. The Los Angeles leg of their ‘Permission To Dance On Stage’ concert series sold 214,000 tickets and made US$33.3 million (£25 million), according to Billboard.
With BTS albums making such astounding success in such a short period of time, people often ask how many album does BTS have? Well, BTS has produced nine studio albums, six compilation albums, and six extended plays (one of which was reissued under a new title).
BTS’s “Butter” album is in its 14th week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs list. “Butter,” the K-pop group’s second full-length English single, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs list, unseating Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U,” which had held the top place the previous week.
According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, “Butter” had 32.2 million US streams and sold 242,800 units in the week ending May 27. It also received 18.1 million radio airplay impressions.
At the Grammy, the boyband was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their smash single ‘Butter,’ which they also played live. However, the award was finally given to Doja Cat and SZA for their song ‘Kiss Me More.’
They acknowledged the issue at a recent concert at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. “Guys, I know there’s a lot of noises [sic] out there about the Grammys and the team itself. But, you know… Why give a sh*t about it?,” said BTS leader RM. “We didn’t come to Vegas for the Grammys. We came to Vegas for the ARMYs.”
