Coi Leray and Nicki Minaj to drop new collab this Friday.
There were rumours that Coi Leray is connecting with Nicki Minaj, and it was also revealed by her father Benzino in a recent Clubhouse session. “She got the song with Nicki Minaj that’s gonna be coming out that’s gonna be crazy,” he said. Now the rumoured collaboration has been confirmed by Coi Leray herself.
The “No More Hitmaker” took to her social media to share a picture with Nicki Minaj, possibly from their music video shoot, and wrote: “TRENDSETTERS LOADING. My new single ‘Blick Blick’ w| The QUEEN @Nickiminaj drops this FRIDAY 3/18.”
Barbie mentions Tyler, the Creator and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (“Texting with Jeff Bezos”), as well as the late DMX and Pop Smoke (“Every ni**a tryna pop ain’t the next Woo”).
During a Twitter Q&A, Coi revealed what it was like to shoot the video with the rap queen. “She arrived early. She stayed on set for 12 hours and did a scene with me in the cold,” she said. “She had her family there with here in her trailer holding her down. And In front of that camera . She’s a fu**ing natural [Fire Emoji] really that bi**h in real life.”
Nicki Minaj recently made her return to the music, with two Lil Baby Collaborations, “Do We Have A Problem” and “Bussin“.
