Chrissy Teigen raps Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’.
John Legend’s model wife Chrissy Teigen shared an old throwback video where she is rapping Eminem’s hit “Lose Yourself” to encourage her singer husband before his 2018 Jesus Christ Superstar performance.
“a lot of people don’t know this but before this all started I was well on my way to discovering my talent for quickly-spoken words aka “rap” music. what was merely a source of entertainment for me growing up became more than just something I could listen to others do. I needed to spit for myself. The first time I got in the studio, my fingers and voice shook like a dog straight out of the bath, a sputtering car engine in a cold winter’s night. But I knew once I passed that moment of fear, the anxiety would turn into lyrics so poignant and beautiful that the world needed to hear. I used my new gift in every which way I could, sharing the sweet sounds and effortlessness even with a baby growing inside me. It was almost like the baby was lending me it’s small talent for rap as well – I was even better than before. Maybe one day when this is all over we will meet again,” wrote Chrissy Teigen in the caption.
Teigen playfully claims she composed the pump-up song, and Legend seemed to enjoy the pre-social distance, practically in-your-face delivery of the famed chorus.

The video was one of several throwbacks published by the cookbook author on Monday, in which she joked in various postings that “before all of this happened,” she was a dancer, a football player, and a synchronised swimmer. Teigen and Legend, who have a 4-year-old daughter named Luna Simone, recently spoke up on The Ellen DeGeneres Show about life in quarantine during the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. “This is honestly unreal,” Teigen told DeGeneres, 62. “It’s just been an unreal, surreal experience for our family and everyone out there. So it’s just been crazy.”
