Cardi B wins Grammy for Best Rap Album.
Cardi B has made history as she became the first solo female rapper to win the Grammy for Best Rap Album. Cardi B’s debut album ‘Invasion of Privacy‘ beat other albums from Pusha-T, Mac Miller, Nipsey Hussle, and Travis Scott to win the award earlier tonight.
Cardi B is the first female solo artist to be nominated for a Grammy for Best Album in the hip-hop category. Cardi B was nominated for five awards this year, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year (“I Like It”), Best Rap Performance (“Be Careful”), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Maroon 5 on “Girls Like You.”
