Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy” turns 5.
It’s been five years since the release of Cardi B’s debut and only studio album “Invasion Of Privacy“. The “WAP” hitmaker shared clips on her IG stories, celebrating the occasion as her team brought an anniversary Cake.
“What my team got me, guys,” she says in the studio with her producer, J. White Did It, and engineer, Evan LaRay. “Yeah, Five years! I’m still getting booked for millions of dollars with one muthaf**kin’ album, bi**h. Yeah, wassup? Ain’t nobody can tell me nothing.”

The project was released in April 2018 through Atlantic Records, featuring guest appearances from Migos, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, SZA, Kehlani, Chance the Rapper, 21 Savage and YG. The triple-platinum album debuted at #1 on Billboard 200 with 255,000 album-equivalent units in its first week, with 103,000 coming from pure album sales. The album won the Best Rap Album award at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, which made Cardi B the first female to win the category as a solo artist.
Cardi B has released five hit singles to date, including “Bodak Yellow,” “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage, “Be Careful,” “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, and “Ring” featuring Kehlani. Both “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” have been certified Diamond and topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking Cardi B as the first female rapper to achieve multiple chart-topping hits.
