Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion beat 6ix9ine and Eminem.
Till a few months before, Eminem had the biggest first-week US debut on Youtube with his Machine Gun Kelly diss “Killshot” which garnered over 50.1 million views in the first week of its release. Then the controversial artist 6ix9ine, released from Prison and dropped his comeback single called “GOOBA” which surpassed Eminem for the biggest debut week.
Now recently Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion released their track and NSFW video for “WAP” which beat both 6ix9ine and Eminem with 56.4 million US views in the first week. Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion & 6ix9ine tops Eminem, but the Detroit rapper’s record is commendable as it was just an Audio track without any official video.
With over 2.34 million streams, the song debuted at number one on the US Spotify songs list, making it the first female rap duet to do so. Cardi B’s record as the female artist with the most chart-topping songs on Apple Music was extended with the release of “WAP,” which debuted at number one on the US Apple Music songs chart, the platform’s highest-ever debut by a female artist.
Cardi B’s fourth number-one single in the US, “WAP,” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 list, extending her record as the female rapper with the most number-one hits, and Megan’s second number-one track. “WAP” was the first female rap duet to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
