Camila Cabello shows support for Drake.
Camila Cabello released her brand new album C,XOXO, which includes assistance from Drake on two songs. The two joined forces on the songs titled “Hot Uptown” and “UUUGLY”. Now in a new interview with The Times of London, she speaks on working with the Toronto rapper and his recent beef battle with Kendrick Lamar.
“He is such a delight,” Cabello said. “It’s so frustrating to see people talk about someone you know in a way that is negative. You’re like, ‘Dang, if only you guys could just have dinner or something.’”

Back in May, she revealed how their collaboration happened. “He’s the f–king Goat, so it felt like shooting for the stars,” she told Billboard. “I showed him the album when I felt comfortable enough and he really liked it. [The collab] came out of a nontransactional place. He had this idea of a song called ‘Hot Uptown,’ and it just felt like I was in the city. I was in Miami.”
“He wanted to do one more thing for the album,” she continued. “Why does he have his own song? Because selfishly, I just want to hear Drake on my own album… I love that for me… it’s like that rebellious mood. Who says I can’t do that? It’s Drake talking his sh-t.”
Drake recently went toe-to-toe against K. Dot, a battle which he lost to the fans and hip-hop fraternity. The Compton emcee is currently prepping the release of his hit Drake diss “Not Like Us”, and there are some rumours that Drizzy might drop another diss track.
