Busta Rhymes officially announces new album “Blockbusta”.
After first teasing it a few months back, Busta Rhymes has officially announced his brand new album “Blockbusta”. This will be his eleventh studio album, a follow-up to 2020’s “Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God.”
As announced previously, the project will be executive produced by Swizz Beatz, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Busta himself. “This project right here is executive produced by the f–king committee,” Swizz Beatz says in the announcement clip. “Pharrell the Pharaoh, Timbo the King, Swizz Beatz the student.” “I’m so grateful that you chose me to be a part of your legacy,” added Busta.
“You really feel illuminated. This illumination is good because I think people gon’ be able to get and feel that,” said Pharrell. “Timeless,” added Timbaland.
Rhymes revealed that the official artwork is curated by Mike Amiri, and the album will drop next month on 24th November. “THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE WON’T EVER STOP!!,” he wrote.
In the comments of the announcement post, Busta received wishes from Tyler, the Creator, Fat Joe, DJ Premier, Chuck D, Symbolyc One, and more.
