Bow Wow reveals ‘Greenlight 6’ mixtape cover art & tracklist feat Soulja Boy, Migos & others.
After teasing it for the past several weeks, Bow Wow decided to reveal the official cover art and tracklist for his upcoming ‘Greenlight 6‘ mixtape. The sixth installment of his Greenlight mixtape series will be hosted by DJ Drama and it will release on May 21st.
In addition to the previously mentioned 12 songs to 16 songs Kap G and Jacquees, the Greenlight 6 tracklist now includes Migos, Bone Thugs, Soulja Boy, and Trill Sammy, in addition to the previously stated Kap G and Jacquees.
A photo of a young Bow Wow using the bathroom while carrying a trophy behind his back and looking over his shoulder at the camera is included in the project’s artwork. Surprisingly, the post only lasted a few hours on his Instagram before being removed. The tracklisting, however, contained various inaccuracies, including the spelling of Jacquees’ name and appropriate numbers, so it’s possible it was just pulled down to be changed.
A number of new tunes have been added, including “Don’t Watch My Pockets,” which appears to contain Bone Thugs members. It also includes an extra track, “Longtime,” which features Migos as well as Jermaine Dupri as a producer. A number of tracks were also dropped. Bow Wow’s collaboration with Kiyomi, “Relationship Goals,” didn’t make the cut for personal reasons.
In September, after the misconduct he had disclosed he was due to mental health problems for which he received assistance, Bow Wow went to social media and apologized to fans and labelmates on So Def in September. It appears hopeful that they’ve healed things and moved on since a Jermaine Dupri appeared on the tracklist through the MiGOs-assistierated “Longtime” production.
