Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo dominate the list of best selling 2021 tracks.
Earlier this week, the list of best selling albums of 2021 were revealed, which features artists like Morgan Wallen, Olivia Rodrigo, Drake, Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Kanye West and more. Eminem was also among the top 50, with his album “Curtain Call: The Hits”, which was dropped way back in 2005. Now, the hitsdailydouble decided to unveil the biggest songs of this year, as the listed biggest records streaming and total-activity wise.
On both the list, Dua Lipa topped with her hit “Levitating”, followed by Olivia Rodrigo holding second and third spots, with her songs “Drivers License” and “Good 4 U”. The top 4 on both the lists are the same artists and songs, as The Weeknd is on the fourth spot with “Save Your Tears“.
The Hip-Hop artists with the biggest tracks of 2021 include Doja Cat, Lil Nas X, Drake, Polo G, Lil Baby, Pop Smoke, Moneybagg Yo, Jack Harlow, Saweetie and more.
The year-end music summaries on Billboard reflect aggregated stats for each artist, title, label, and music contributor from Nov. 21, 2020, to Nov. 13, 2021. The rankings for MRC Data-based recaps are based on equivalent album units, airplay, sales, or streaming during the weeks the titles were on a certain chart throughout the tracking year.
