Beyonce drops the new Album ‘Lemonade’ Below.
Beyonce is back with a new Album Titled ‘Lemonade’. The Surprise Album features 12 tracks and guest appearances came from The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, James Blake & More. The music production is handled by Mike Will Made-It, Diplo, Hit-Boy & More.
Though the release of “Formation” in February was another guerrilla attack, it alerted the public to the possibility of more new music from Beyoncé. She teased something called Lemonade on Instagram earlier this month. She fanned the flames with a brief teaser for the visual on HBO, which included frantic bursts of noise, flickering lights, and cryptic voiceover declarations such, “The past and the present combine to meet us here.” No one understood what the “World Premiere Event” would entail, but it was certain to happen.
Beyoncé enlisted the aid of a number of powerful black women for Lemonade, including tennis player Serena Williams, teenage actors Quvenzhané Wallis and Amandla Stenberg, and actress/singer Zendaya. Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin’s mother, and Lesley McSpadden, Michael Brown’s mother, are also featured. Jay Z and Blue Ivy also make cameo appearances in the short film’s latter scenes, which focus on reconciliation and future happiness. Some guests can also be heard but not seen. One song has The Weeknd on vocals, while another features James Blake. Beyoncé includes major samples of Isaac Hayes’ “Walk On By” and a speech from Malcolm X; she also pays tribute to Nina Simone by letting the singer’s voice flow freely off a turntable. Despite the fact that Kendrick Lamar appears on the album, he did not rap during the video presentation.
Beyoncé has been teasing the album’s arrival for the majority of 2016. Instead of just recreating her surprise album prank from 2013, the singer expertly leveraged the anticipation by posting cryptic hints on social media, including photographs of herself holding lemons.
Beyoncé released the track “Formation,” also on Tidal, in February, before of her second Super Bowl halftime performance — she headlined the programme in 2013, ten months before her first surprise album — piqued public interest in what may come next.
