Benzino ends his feud with Eminem and the stans.
Eminem and Benzino have been beefing for over 2 decades, but in recent times it is one-sided as the Boston born continuously trying to reignite the feud with Detroit Rapper. The father of Coi Leray has been shading Eminem and his fans, who are called Stans. Just recently, Benzino took shots at Eminem’s fans and called them corny and cowards.
Now in a surprise, Benzino took to his Twitter to announce that his beef with Eminem is officially over, and he recognize him as hip hop great. “To all @Eminem fans & Stans all over the world, the beef is officially over. I’m letting y’all know I have no hate towards any of his fans & recognize his contributions to Hip Hop. He truly is apart of the culture & 1 of the best to rock the mic regardless of his color,” he wrote.
“I realize that me going back and forth with his fans is not good for the culture, my spirit, my legacy and most important, my beautiful, talented daughter Coi Leray. I don’t want any negativity from me affect her dream. This is truly over. God Bless All,” he said in another tweet.
Meanwhile, Eminem, who usually ignores Benzino, continues to set records on the Billboard charts. With 73.5 million new certificates, he just became the Recording Industry Association of America’s (RIAA) most awarded artist.
Those who are really startled by Benzino’s change of mind should pay special attention to the name of his daughter in the tweet. She’s making a name for herself as a hip-hop musician and doing well. Coi Leroy and Nicki Minaj have recently inked an agreement (a side note: a hefty check can secure such collaboration and it is not necessarily a guarantee of success, see: Tekashi 6ix9ine). In any event, if the girl wants a great career, she doesn’t need her father’s notoriety to stifle her ambitions. In this scenario, Benzino did what any good father would do: he prioritized his child’s needs.
