Benzino says he would destroy Royce da 5’9″ in Verzuz. Royce responds.
A few days ago, Benzino again fired shots at his longtime enemy Eminem and trashed his latest Deluxe Version of “Music To Be Murdered By” album. Now earlier today, Eminem affiliate and friend Royce da 5’9″ defends the other half of “Bad Meets Evil” and responded to Benzino, and also schooled him for rapping naked in a clip.
These last several weeks, Benzino has been going at it with just about everyone and anybody. It all started with his profound loathing for Eminem, but it didn’t take long for other people, such as Royce Da 5’9, to join in “, to add his two cents to the conversation. Royce Da 5’9 was publicly challenged by the Love & Hip Hop star “to go head-to-head with Verzuz, saying that his discography can hold its own against the Detroit rappers.
After that Benzino attacks Royce and called him Eminem’s b*tch. He also says that his catalog is better than Royce and challenged him for a Verzuz battle. “I know for a fact my catalogue is better than Royce, somebody set up a versuz, I promise I’ll destroy ems favorite houseni**a. Take the challenge,” wrote Benzino.
The beef between Royce Da 5’9 and Benzino is still simmering over a week after it began, and it’s possible that it may erupt soon, far from the safety of social media. The ex-Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star has given a strong warning to Eminem’s Bad Meets Evil collaborator after Nickle Nine dragged Benzino’s daughter Coi Leray into the dispute. Royce found the challenge hilarious and shared a screenshot of it on his Instagram account.
“Y’all owe me for these laughs,” he captioned the post. “I want my flowers for these hysterical outbursts during these trying times…This mufuka dun challenged me to a Verzuz battle.”
