Barack Obama returns with annual Summer Playlist.
Barack Obama continues with his tradition of revealing a Summer music playlist every year as he now unveils the 2024 list. “With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately – and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix. I hope you find something new to listen to!,” he wrote.
As always, the list includes some of the current hits as well as old classics. The list includes songs like Charli XCX’s “365”, H.E.R.’s “Process”, Tems’ “Love Me Jeje”, Sting’s “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free”, The Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction”, Saweetie’s “My Best”, Common’s “The People”, GloRilla & Megan Thee Stallion’s “Wanna Be”, Rema’s “Yayo”, Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em”, Willow’s “Symptom of Life”, Moneybagg Yo & Morgan Wallen’s “Whiskey Whiskey” and more.

“People seem to think, ‘Well, he must’ve had some 20-year-old intern who was figuring out this latest cut,’” he told Hasan Minhaj previously on if he really picks the songs himself. “No, man! It’s on my iPad right now.”
Last year in his Summer Playlist 2023, the former US President listed songs from Drake, SZA, 2Pac, Dr. Dre, 21 Savage, Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj, Nas and more.
