Barack Obama's Favorite Music Of 2024 Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott & More

Barack Obama Shares Favorite Songs of 2024.

As the year 2024 coming to an end, Barack Obama decided to share the list of music that has been his favorite all year. “Here are my favourite songs from this year! Check them out if you’re looking to shake up your playlist – and let me know if there’s a song or artist I should make sure to listen to,” he wrote.

The list includes songs like Kendrick Lamar’s “Squabble Up”, Billie Eilish’s “Lunch”, Travis Scott & Asake’s “Active”, Rema’s “Yayo”, Central Cee & Lil Baby’s “Band4Band”, Beyonce’s “Texas Hold ‘Em” and more.

In a conversation on VicBlends’ DeepCut podcast in October, Obama was asked about Kendrick Lamar and Drake. “Kendrick is a friend of mine. I’ve known him for a long time. He actually performed at the White House. I’m pretty confident in saying not many presidents were familiar with Hip Hop,” he said. “I do think that Kendrick has a unique status right now, not just because of this summer. He’s not just gifted; he’s serious about the message he tries to… he digs deep into himself.”

“When we get together, he wants to talk about fatherhood,” he revealed about talks with Kendrick Lamar. “Those are the questions he’s talking about. He’s got a couple of young kids and he’s taking that very seriously.”
