Azealia Banks shades Kanye West, says she turned down his collab request.
Kanye West recently confirmed that he’s working on “DONDA 2“, and for the project, he’s linking up with various artists, including Moneybagg Yo, The Game, Pusha T, ASAP Rocky, Hit-Boy and more. It looks like Ye also reached out to Azealia Banks, who turned down the collab offer twice this week.
The Harlem artist took to her Instagram and slammed Kanye West while calling Doja Cat better than him. “Just turned down a Kanye collab request twice in one week,” said Azealia on IG. “He’s like officially useless garbage on his own.”
She continues, “If he can stop being corny and make amends with Jay for watch the throne 2 (which prob won’t happen, Jay doesn’t play that dirty dope head sh*t) I *might* consider… But Id rather collab with Doja Cat than Kanye at this point. She’s making better music than him.” Banks’ remark regarding Doja comes after she criticised her physical form, so her new stance may surprise some.
Previously, she also called “DONDA” garbage when Kanye West released the album.
