Rich Homie Quan passed away at 33.
Rich Homie Quan, real name Dequantes Devontay Lamar, reportedly passed away at the age of 33. According to a 911 call obtained by TMZ, Quan’s girlfriend tells the dispatcher that she found him with no heartbeat.
“I don’t feel a heartbeat. I don’t see him breathing,” she said in tears. “When I turned him over he kind of foamed at the mouth,” she added. Rich Homie Quan’s family told TMZ that they are “shattered and heartbroken by his sudden death.”

Quan first gained mainstream success with his 2013 single “Type of Way”, which peaked at #50 on the Billboard Hot 100. Then his 2015 single “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” peaked at number 26 on the chart. In his career, Quan only dropped one album “Rich as in Spirit” in 2018, which debuted at number 33 on Billboard 200.
