Jacob Elordi reveals listening to Eminem helped perfect his American Accent.
Actor Jacob Elordi, who is famously known for his roles in Netflix teen films ‘The Kissing Boot‘, and HBO series ‘Euphoria‘, sat down with ET Canada for a new interview about his upcoming film ‘2 Hearts‘.
2 Hearts is a love drama film directed by Lance Hool and starring Jacob Elordi, Adan Canto, Tiera Skovbye, and Radha Mitchell that will be released in 2020. It is based on the true story of Christopher Gregory and Leslie Bacardi. On October 16, 2020, the film will be released in theatres in the United States.
In the show, he also revealed that the Detroit rapper Eminem helped him perfect his American Accent. “When I was younger and I decided to be an actor and there was not way I come here and not be able to do the accent and I listened to a lots of Eminem. I was like enormous Eminem fan.” – said Jacob. “I listen to a lot of Eminem,” says Jacob. “So originally my accent was like dog, cat and have it there was like really like that it was like really aggressive, and sometimes that still comes through but I’ve made it a little more like Californian universal I suppose.” Watch it below.
