“Compton,” Dr. Dre’s most recent studio album, was released in 2015.“‘Compton’ is guest-packed, a wise choice for several reasons. For one, Dre is not hip-hop’s greatest wordsmith – famously, he’s employed ghostwriters to pen rhymes, and his skill on the mic remains gruffly able, rather than flamboyant or particularly rich in craft.”
This photo was taken only a few days after Snoop announced on the red carpet for his latest film, Day Shift, that he will be collaborating with Dr. Dre once more on an upcoming album.
“We’re cooking up a little something. I don’t wanna talk about it too much, but we’re back together again.” Snoop continued, “It’s been 30 years since we worked on a record, and we’re doin’ something, we’re workin’ on something.”
Dr. Dre gave an explanation on Beats 1 Radio in 2015, prior to marketing for the movies Straight Outta Compton and Compton: A Soundtrack By Dr. Dre, why the fabled album never materialised. “This is something you’re not gonna hear many artists say: the reason that Detox didn’t come out was because I didn’t like it,” he said. “It wasn’t good. The record, it just wasn’t good… I mean seriously, I worked my a*s off on it, but I didn’t think I did a good enough job. I couldn’t do that to my fans, I couldn’t do that to myself, to be honest.”
The rumoured tracklist also features appearances from Cordae, Kurupt, Kanye West, ScHoolboy Q, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and more.
Kanye West announced earlier this year that the Dr. Dre remix of his 2019 song “Use This Gospel,” which features Eminem, exists. “Eminem Thank you for rapping on the Dr Dre remix of my daughter’s favorite song of mine USE THIS GOSPEL,” tweeted West.
To commemorate 4/20, 2020, Dr. Dre’s December 1992 solo album ‘The Chronic’ was made accessible for the first time on all major streaming platforms earlier this year.Dre’s post-N.W.A. debut sold over two million copies in its first year on the market and has since sold six million copies in the United States alone. Its booming low-end bass dumps (inspired by A Tribe Called Quest’s ‘The Low End Theory,’ groovy rhythms, and inventive soul samples dominated boomboxes and car stereos across America, and the rest of the globe quickly caught on.
The Contract, a new addition for GTA Online, including collaborations between Dr. Dre and artists like Eminem, Anderson.Paak, and Snoop Dogg in a number of new tracks that have been released.

Dre is now hard prepping for a spectacular Super Bowl performance. Dre Day will be held in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on February 13, 2022. Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar will perform at the big game alongside Dre.
Just recently in a new interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood, Fifty reveals that he received a text from the Detroit rapper for new music with Dr. Dre. “As soon as I said that, I got a text from [Eminem] that he had already spoke to Dre, and that Dre is in there and he got some crazy stuff for me to go hear,” said Fifty. “This is my process: I’ll go make something, what I can find, the best music that I can put my hands on. And when I feel real good about it, I bring it to put pressure on Dre to offer me something. ‘Cause he’ll have something… He’s always had something.”
