2 Chainz pays tribute to longtime pet dog Trappy.
2 Chainz took to his social media to share the sad news with his followers that his longtime pet dog Trappy passed away. Trappy was a French bulldog and had been with the rapper for around a decade.
“Can’t believe im even saying this man im crushed like a mf man this my heart right here I have had @trappygoyard for 9 years we have traveled and kicked it all over the world and he is no longer here mannn Sh*t hurt me no cap , feel like a person passed away , I love my dog he was so smart and laid back !!,” he wrote.
He continued, “I have so many items and memories of Trappy , can’t believe I won’t hear you snoring no more , I know for a fact we influenced many people to try to get a dog that looked and acted like you , it could never be another Trappy that’s was so sad to me [Sad emojis] I l loved my dog more than some people I know.”

Back in 2018, 2 Chainz collaborated with VICE TV for a “Trappy’s Origin Story” episode.
Last year, 2 Chainz dropped his seventh studio album “Dope Don’t Sell Itself” through Def Jam Recordings. The project featured appearances from Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, 42 Dugg, NBA Youngboy, Lil Durk, Moneybagg Yo, Swae Lee and more.
The rapper also teased a joint album with Lil Wayne. “Had a good weekend wit 2 shows in Vegas and one in Mexico in 2 days , now I’m about to crash I’m just walking out the studio , been in with @LilTunechi all night , let’s just say I’m Excited about our project,” he tweeted in July last year.
