Young M.A talks about working with Eminem.
Earlier this year, Young M.A appeared on Eminem’s “Music To Be Murdered By” album on the track called “Unaccommodating” which became one of the fan-favorite of the album. SiriusXM reached out to her for a new interview where Young MA was asked what it’s like to work with Eminem.
“Hey man, c’mon man, that’s the goat, he’s in top 5 goat rappers for me.” said Young M.A. “When my team first told me that Em wants you on his project, I thought they were just playing. I don’t know like, I was like what I am gonna say to Eminem. Then we had a conversation, he was humble as hell man and I was like I am a big fan, I watch you, I rock with you. Then he told me he needs me on his project and asked me to just do my thing.”
Young M.A continues, “He sent me the record before he put his verse on it, then I did my thing, then he recorded his verse, and then we heard it, and I was like Oh My God. I was like I can’t add more to my verse? He reached back and said he loved my verse and it was cool. Just to be on a record with Em is a blessing, he’s the GOAT.”
Recently, Young MA debuted her new Apple Music show “Me Always Radio,” and the first guest on the broadcast was none other than Slim Shady himself. Young MA eventually had the opportunity to speak with this man and gain some information. Earlier this year, the couple cooperated on the song “Unaccommodating,” and they applauded and spoke about how much they appreciate each other. “I looked into the entire Shady movement.” Young MA says, “That’s what drove and inspired me to become who I am today.”
