Nardwuar connects with Tyler, The Creator for a new interview.
Tyler, the Creator is riding high on the success of his “Call Me If You Get Lost” tour, which reportedly made $32 million. The rapper now connects with legendary Nardwuar for his fifth interview at the Beat Street Records in Vancouver. Before the conversation, the rapper had a look at old magazine covers of The Source and XXL, 50 Cent’s action figures and other things in the store.

The Vancouver Veteran then told Tyler that some of the stuff he presented to him in the past interviews were taken from the same place.
Nardwuar mentioned to Tyler that many of the artefacts he has showed and given to him in previous interviews were obtained from Beat Street Records. He also goes into detail on 1980s UK music, complimenting Paul Weller’s Style Council and the Jam, while criticising British people’s breakfast habits. “‘Cause I’m daddy,” Tyler, the Creator says when questioned why people care about him. “F**k the free world,” he concludes the conversation.

Just last week, Tyler the Creator’s latest album returned to the top of the Billboard 200 after it broke the record for the largest vinyl sales week (49,500 copies) for an album by a solo male artist. Last month, he also won the Best Rap Album trophy at the 64th annual Grammy Awards.
