ScHoolboy Q’s interview with Charlamagne Tha God.
ScHoolboy Q’s new album ‘CrasH Talk‘ is out now and as a promo campaign, he did an interview session with Charlamagne Tha God. In the interview, he talks about his previous two albums, the low sales of his ‘Blank Face LP’ album, how Mac Miller’s death affected him and more.
Toward the conclusion of the video, Charlamagne returned to the subject, with Q calling his prior public explanation of the need to grieve privately “weak” since it was prompted by the insignificant opinions of strangers.
Q then discussed his sobriety, the actual meaning of an Oxymoron, and his present place in the game. “I’m famous but I’m not, like, crazy famous so I can still walk places by myself,” he said around 23 minutes in. “I always get bothered but it’s not like a mob-bothered. It’s not like if, like, Kanye or some shit or Kendrick or one of them was to walk through Target and it’s gon’ be like, the whole store’s on them.”
